What numerology looks at
A numerologist works from your full date of birth and the name you use. From these come your Basic number, drawn from the day you were born, and your Destiny number, drawn from the whole date. Together they are placed in a Vedic grid, which shows which numbers are strong in your chart, which are missing, and how they combine.
The grid is read alongside the Dasha system — the periods of life ruled by different numbers — to understand why some years feel easier than others, and when a phase is likely to change.

Is Vedic numerology different from other systems?
Yes. Vedic numerology uses the Vedic grid and the Dasha periods, and links each number to a planet. Other systems, such as Pythagorean or Lo Shu, arrange and interpret numbers differently.
Do I have to change my name?
Not necessarily. A name correction is only suggested when the numerologist finds a mismatch, and often a small change in spelling is enough. The choice is always yours.
